Blytonian Happenings

Secret Island Day

Corfe Castle, Thursday 29 May, 11am - 4pm
Usual NT castle admission fees

It is 70 years since Enid Blyton wrote The Secret Island, which is now considered to be one of her finest novels. The children in this book were highly resourceful, camping out on their Secret Island for six months. To find out more about the book, we will have an expert on 1930s aviation, learn about bats, and listen to a wind up gramophone. We shall also try cooking on a fire, looking after hens and (possibly!) making a Willow House.

This event is being run by the Ginger Pop shop.
